Greek Power Regulator Calls Emergency Meeting to Avert Collapse of Power Grid and Natural Gas System

By on June 11, 2012

When the political and economic systems of entire nations collapse the consequences are devastating.

Earlier this year pharmacies and hospitals in Greece were unable to provide life saving medicines due to a shortages caused by a freeze in the flow of credit from manufacturers to distributors to patients. A collapse in the country’s economy has forced many Greeks to turn to black market barter economies and has left millions financially devastated, with no hope of finding an income stream for the foreseeable future.

The credit system of the entire country is in shambles. So much so that reports are emerging about food shortages and hunger within the Greek prison system, suggesting that serious problems in the food delivery chain have begun to materialize.

As Nigel Farage warned recently, we are beginning to see the rise of extreme political parties as a consequence of  the total and utter desperation of the populace.

Today the news gets even worse. Greece’s Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) announced an emergency meeting to deal with what can only be construed as a tell-tale sign that this crisis is very rapidly reaching critical mass and may spiral out of control in the very near future:

Greece’s power regulator RAE told Reuters on Friday it was calling an emergency meeting next week to avert a collapse of the debt-stricken country’s electricity and natural gas system.

“RAE is taking crisis initiatives throughout next week to avert the collapse of the natural gas and electricity system,” the regulator’s chief Nikos Vasilakos told Reuters.

RAE took the decision after receiving a letter from Greece’s natural gas company DEPA, which threatened to cut supplies to electricity producers if they failed to settle their arrears with the company.

You may have thought the financial collapse of 2008 was bad.

That was just a warm up. The main event is staring us in the face, and the whole of Europe has front row seats.

We’ve repeatedly warned about what author James Rawles portrays in his fictional yet prescient account of the effects an economic collapse has on a society. In his book Patriots (and his follow up Survivors) Rawles details the loss of confidence in a nation’s currency and credit, a collapse of basic services, the emergence of bartering, the collapse of power grids and supply infrastructure due to lack of money and labor, the rise of political extremes, and even the civil unrest and war that follows.

Do you still think this can only happen in fiction novels?

We are now seeing the first signs of this happening inside of the European Union – the largest economic zone in the world.

If there’s is one thing we can surmise based on the last four years, it’s that the contagion is spreading and it cannot be contained.

Today it’s Greece. Tomorrow it could be your hometown.

Never. Not true. and in the slightest possible way if it were, the truth would never come out. The amount of money that would be demanded by victims from the US would send the US back to the stone age. They would nevr let a truth like that out, and any one that could find these truths would be “taken care of”.

That was the way it used to be. However distraction from/concern for the public good has been enforced and dulled respectively. It’s always easier to join someone in believing a lie then standing alone for the truth. If there is a widely accepted fact, regardless of whether or not it’s true, that poses the impossibility of guilt, why not flock to it? Of course most people are more concerned about Modern Warfare [the video games] Kim Kardashians Butt, Which Rapper is in the Illuminati and The Terminator’s Divorce that any serious human issues. This just in! A new fashion trend. and later we might take a glimpse at Arabs in Darfur Slaughtering the native peoples. Y’know if we’ve got the time.

This disease was created so doctors and politicians could make money off people who have the disease. I am 100% sure that there is also a cure, but if it was released how would doctors and politicians continue to make money? Think people!

the money is in the treatment…not the cure….do you think the pharmaceutical companies would rather cure the cold or have you buy nyquil, sudafed, robitussin, etc. every year?

Actually, more money can be made off of just “treating” people with HIV/AIDS over long peroids of time as apposed to curing people right off the bat….Dip shit. ;D

no. because then people and their babies stop contracting aids and the get people sick and heal them industry is done for. nevermind the fact that we’re discussing the fact that it’s an INDUSTRY like it’s okay. Instead, the get people sick and sell them the false dream of ever getting better and PROLONG THEIR DEATH industry is booming. keep it circulating for years so that it will only continue to spread and never go into remission.

oh wait nevermind your right. “the vaccine industry would become millionaires” do you think any plan like this would stop at such a ludicrous amount of money? these are the same people who make money and the rules of how it works. they put it out in the world for us to work for it and give it back to them. they want as much of it as possible at all times and to keep us living an illusion that we have even a slight CHUNK of it is perhaps their greatest plan of all

you are miss informed Jacqueline Anderson The disease was not created so that politicians can make money off of the people who are diseased. politicians are here to make the 99 percenter’s (the high class middle class & lower class) feel as if we have a voice in the worlds matters. THE DISEASE AIDS ALONG WITH OTHER GOVERNMENT MADE DISEASES SYPHILIS WAS CREATED TO DE-POPULIZE THE RACE THIS PRACTICE IS CALLED EUGENICS THE PEOPLE WHO ORDERED THESE PLANS TO BE CARRIED OUT WERE CALLED EUGENICISTS THESE PEOPLE FELT AS BLACK PEOPLE WERE USELESS THERE ROLE WERE TO SERVE WHITES AND IF YOU COULDN’T SERVE THAT PURPOSE BLACKS WERE LOOKED AT AS WASTING SPACE. WITH THE END OF SLAVERY ON THE HORIZON THE WHITE MAN WAS SCARED AT THE THOUGHT OF 4MILLION BLACK PEOPLE SET FREE SO TO CONTROL THE POPULATION THE PLAN WAS TO OBLITERATE THE BLACK RACE. THINKING RATIONALLY THE EUGENICIST TRIED TO FIGURED OUT MANY WAYS TO CONTROL THE BLACK POPULATION “BIRTH CONTROL” WAS INVENTED FOR THE SAME REASON. The governments intention wasn’t to make money off the virus the intent of the virus were to erase black humanity. money is just a benefit of the virus. (If you going to dish information from a politically correct stand point please know exactly what your talking about) all this is documented and in books and on the internet don’t take my word for it DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH PEOPLE!

What about the issue of the man from Africa that had aids and that was in 1959? Does that kill this article?
