Video: Kanye West Releases New ‘Symbolic’ Video

Kanye West has been known to make headlines with his crude remarks and erratic behavior. Joy105.com reports that West recently released a new video for 25 fashion magazine. Anja Rubik, a 29-year-old model turned founder and editor of 25 fashion magazine connected with West to make what they describe as a “sensual” video that merges fashion and eroticism. Reports say that Rubik and West sat down to discuss how she wanted the magazine to approach sex, “It’s funny, we talked about how porn looks these days, and he agreed with me that there’s no porn out there that is beautiful aesthetically and integrates fashion to make a beautiful image,” she explained. “We were on the same page about a lot of things. I thought it would be really interesting to make it seem like we were entering Kanye’s head. It’s not pornographic, but it’s very sensual.”

Sensual is not the word that comes to mind when viewing this video. The video is not easy to stomach as it is extremely graphic with quick flashes of porn, the “Third Eye,” a goat’s head, blood, snakes coiled around a staff, and Rubik who at different times appears naked wearing a crown of thorns and standing as if she is on a cross. The images are displayed in such a way that one feels like they are looking through a Kaleidoscope. Is this art or simply a medium for pushing satanic paraphernalia?
