There’s plenty of discussion these days about the heart being the “new” and empowered energy portal – the vibrational nerve center where things happen; the electromagnetic dynamo that when coupled with intention can add potency to the manifestation process.

This is a provocative claim, and yet there is ample evidence to show that there is indeed validity to this process of creation via heart-brain coherence.

Now well known and widely revered by many in the metaphysical and consciousness arena, as well as some scientific circles, The Institute of HeartMath is perhaps the single most influential trailblazer in this cutting edge area of research on heart energy.

It was back in 1991 when HeartMath’s founder Doc Childre birthed the non-profit research and educational center to examine and put to practical use the findings born out of measuring heart energy, as a way to examine and progress physical and emotional well being.  From there, it grew into a multi-faceted study, measuring the electrical and magnetic fields that the heart generates, it’s communication channels with the brain and the ultimate affect it can have on the individual and the world in which we reside.

The findings of this “magical rainmaker” called the heart have been astounding to say the least.  Probably most identified amid the broad swath of data that has been generated in studying the heart is the fact that it is the strongest generator of both electric and magnetic fields in the body, far surpassing that of the brain!  Further, the heart is the first organ to develop in the body and thus the first to communicate with the world around us.

But more than just communicate with the reality that we know, does the heart play a key role in creating it?  And if so, is there conduit we can use to consciously create our reality?
